Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Miami and his Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from The Chicago School. He specializes in working with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating depression, OCD, anxiety, autism, ADHD, life transitions, peer and parent relationships, and challenges related to self-esteem and self-compassion. Ryan has experience across a range of settings—including hospitals and behavioral therapy clinics—providing care to children, teens, and adults alike.
Ryan’s clinical work is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). He takes a client-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs. With a strong belief in the mind-body connection, Ryan takes a holistic view of wellness—considering mental, emotional, physical, social, spiritual, expressive, and intellectual well-being. As a former athlete and lifelong fitness enthusiast, he encourages clients to explore all dimensions of wellness. He also values music, art, literature, film, cooking, fashion, fitness, and sports, often integrating these interests into the therapeutic process when appropriate.
Ryan is committed to building a collaborative, supportive environment that fosters growth through meaningful conversation and helps clients develop more adaptive ways of thinking and living.
